So, why are ERAS headshots tricky for medical students? The AAMC has strict specifications for the file size, type, and resolution. It is also suggested to use a white or light-grey professional background to help your headshot pop out amongst the rest. For only $75, PROST! Photography will provide the professional background, lighting, and editing for three professional headshots, each delivered in full resolution and formatted for ERAS photo specifications.

What should you wear for your ERAS headshots? You want to look professional and trustworthy, so proper wardrobe choice is critical in having your ERAS photo stand out. Men and women should each wear a suit jacket over a solid-colored button-up shirt or blouse. Jackets, ties and blouses should not have a busy pattern, makeup should be natural, and accessories should be modest.
